Students in EVPP441/505 Protist Diversity and Ecology went out into the field in March to get some hands-on field experience! Student Rylee Ledoux shared "[We] worked in pairs to collect water samples for suspended algae and filamentous mats, perform phytoplankton tows, [and] record water quality data using the sonde.
