Texas and Texas Tech, the teams that faced off in last year’s WCWS Championship Series, headline Softball America’s Preseason All-American Teams.

The Texas Tech softball team will enter 2026 season ranked as the No. 1 team by Softball America. Defending national champion Texas was No. 2, while Oklahoma, Tennessee and Oregon rounded out the top 5.
