Stephen A Smith wants Cowboys to hire his ESPN colleague
ESPN's Stephen A. Smith is officially endorsing one of his colleagues for a position on the Dallas Cowboys. Shortly after wrapping up their 2025 regular season, the Cowboys fired defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus.

On Tuesday, ESPN unveiled its NFL All-Rookie teams. The Dallas Cowboys were represented on the list by right guard Tyler Booker and defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku.
The Dallas Cowboys fired first-year defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus on Tuesday morning. Though the franchise was expected to be patient with its decision, Dallas didn't waste much time making a considerable move. This shouldn't really come as much of a surprise to anyone around the league.
They need to improve on the defense to have a better chance of making the playoffs in 2026.

The Titans are continuing to add more names to their list of candidates for their head coaching position. According to multiple reports, they have requested interviews with Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley and Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
