The teams squared off for the third time in five weeks. During the regular season, Green Bay defeated Chicago 28-21 on Dec. 7 and the Bears defeated the Packers 22-16 in overtime on Dec. 20.

Caleb Williams came through in his playoff debut, throwing a go-ahead, 25-yard touchdown pass to DJ Moore with 1:43 remaining, and the Chicago Bears rallied from an 18-point deficit to beat the rival Green Bay Packers 31-27 in a wild-card playoff game.

The Green Bay Packers end the 2025 season with only nine wins. At 9-7-1, and after being eliminated in the Wild-Card round in the playoffs, they hold the No. 20 overall slot in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Packers will pray for better health in 2026, but outside of that they have decisions to make at head coach and with various star players

The Green Bay Packers held a commanding 21-3 lead at halftime of their playoff matchup against the Chicago Bears. By the final whistle, however, that lead had vanished in ugly fashion as the Packers crashed out of the postseason after surrendering 25 fourth-quarter points in a 31-27 loss, marking their fifth consecutive defeat to end the season.

The Packers face the Bears in the NFL Playoffs as Matt LaFleur’s future and a possible extension begin to take shape.

Green Bay capitalized fully on the Bears' turnover on downs at its own 32-yard line with Jordan Love hitting Romeo Doubs on an out route to the front-left corner of the end zone for a one-yard touchdown on fourth-and-goal. That put the Packers up 21-3 with 1:56 left to play in the half.

The 31-27 loss the Packers suffered in a wild-card playoff game to the Bears was full of miscues, questionable coaching decisions and poor teamwork.
